Colonel Edward A Kaplan, U.S Air Force Col Kaplan is the Director of Aerospace Studies in the

Department of National Security and Strategy at the U.S Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania Prior to joining the U.S Army War College, Col Kaplan served in various intelligence roles at Beale Air Force Base, California, and became a Watch Officer and Flight Commander at the Misawa Cryptologic Operations Center During the course of his career, Col Kaplan has taught as an Assistant Professor at the U.S Air Force Academy, served as a strategic planner at the Directorate of Intelligence on the Joint Staff, was Assistant Deputy Director for Intelligence in the National Military Command Center, and served as Executive Officer for the Director of Intelligence He is the recipient of numerous awards and decorations including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal with oak leaf cluster, the McDermott Award for Excellence in Research, and the Shiner Award for Excellence in Teaching Military History, among several others Col Kaplan is a graduate of the U.S Air Force Academy and received a Master’s

degree and Doctorate in History from the University of Calgary

Lieutenant Colonel John Dobbin, U.S Air Force Lt Col Dobbin is a student at the U.S Army War College

He has held operational, command, and staff positions encompassing conventional and special activities

in support of named Department of Defense, Department of State, and inter-agency operations Prior to this current position, he was the Chief of Special Activities for the U.S Africa Command Lt Col Dobbin received a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Southern College, and a Master of Science from both Embry Riddle University and the Army Command and General Staff College

Commander Jesse Muñoz, U.S Border Patrol CMDR Muñoz is an Assistant Chief Patrol Agent and the

Commander of the national U.S Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue Team (BORSTAR) of the U.S Border Patrol Special Operations Group (SOG) in El Paso, TX CMDR Muñoz entered on duty with the U.S Border Patrol in 2000, as a member of the 448th Session of the U.S Border Patrol Academy and was promoted to Supervisory Border Patrol Agent in 2006 In addition to his experiences with Border Patrol, Commander Muñoz also served in the U.S Army for eight years as a Combat Medic and Vocational Nurse He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from American Military University and is currently licensed in Texas as a Vocational Nurse and E.M.T

Lieutenant Colonel Monica Radtke, U.S Army LTC Radtke is currently a student at the U.S Army War

College and has previously served in various positions with the 64th Forward Support Battalion, 3rd

Brigade Combat Team, and 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized) in Fort Carson, CO She then entered the Army Reserve before entering the Active Guard/Reserve (AGR) program in 2005 While in the AGR, LTC Radtke held several Public Affairs Officer positions, after which she attended the Army’s Congressional Fellowship Program As part of the fellowship, she served in the office of U.S Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) LTC Radtke is a graduate of the Army’s Command and General Staff College, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater She also holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University, and a Master of Professional Studies in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University

Colonel Michael Sullivan, U.S Army Throughout his career, COL Sullivan has had several assignments

related to Operation Enduring Freedom I, II, III, XIII, and XVI His roles included Current Operations

Battalion, and 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) During his sixth tour in Afghanistan, COL Sullivan served as the Commander of Special Operations Task Force – Afghanistan, in support of the completion

of Operation Enduring Freedom and the inaugural rotation in support of the new Resolute Support Mission – Afghanistan He has been selected to command Special Operations Task Force – Lebanon following his time at the U.S Army War College COL Sullivan is the recipient of numerous awards such as the Parachutist Badge, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Special Forces Tab, Legion of Merit, and the Bronze Star, among many others He is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College, with a dual major in History and Government

Colonel Eric Young, U.S Army Prior to being a student at the U.S Army War College, COL Young was

commissioned in 1993 from Purdue University in Indiana He has carried out a range of assignments in roles such as Executive Officer, Chief, Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, and Professor of International Law, among several others His assignments have taken him to Afghanistan, Germany, and various part of the United States COL Young holds a Master’s degree, with Highest Distinction, in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S Naval War College, and a Master of Laws from The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School He also has a Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School
