Survey Methodology SUNY Adirondack surveys its graduates on a regular basis Each graduate has the opportunity to
respond to both postsecondary education and employment questions The number of survey responses for each
graduating class are presented on page three In the years 2013-14, 2014-15, and 2015-16, the graduate survey was administered on paper and follow-up calls were made to graduates Beginning in 2016-17, an electronic survey has been used to collect graduate data Many questions within the survey instrument have remained constant and the wording of a few questions has been modified slightly More recently, questions regarding applied learning experiences, student engagement while on campus, and alumni contact have been added For example, beginning in 2016-17, the responses to an employment question were modified so the data collected could be used to support the Carl D Perkins Career and Technical grant annual report In 2017-18, to shorten the graduate survey and make it easier to complete, the survey was split into two parts: one administered at the time of graduation and a second part to be administered at
a later point in time Follow up on employment characteristics of the 2018 graduating class remains to be accomplished
