Trang 2BVGH’s 2016 partnering objective is to establish 12 new agreements between Members By the end of June
2016, BVGH had established six agreements These agreements span three diseases and involve 11 Members from five countries BVGH has established 103 WIPO Re:Search collaborations to date
BVGH continues to track WIPO Re:Search projects’ statuses and progress by connecting with Member
scientists to obtain regular updates The BVGH team is committed to ensuring all collaborations are carried out to a successful completion and where appropriate, new partners are introduced to advance the
program Out of the 103 research projects established to date, 43 are currently active and four have
advanced to the next stage of product development

2016, BVGH recruited four new User and Provider Members Two of these Members are located in
developing countries To date, WIPO Re:Search has expanded to 105 Member institutions from 29 countries
Of these institutions, 86 are User and/or Provider Members

continued to feature a funding award each month in the Snapshot section entitled, “BVGH FundFinder
Featured Funding Announcement” This section, which was added last year, has been of considerable interest
to Snapshot readers.
BVGH welcomes and encourages feedback and suggestions from Members to ensure the Snapshot content
reflects readers’ interests
