Administration’s First 100 Days

DURHAM, N.H – Tom Rath, founder and chairman of Rath, Young, and Pignatelli, will join Carsey School of Public Policy Director Michael Ettlinger to discuss the Trump administration’s first 100 days Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 4-5 p.m in the Memorial Union Building, Theater II, at the University of New Hampshire The event is free and open to the public
Rath is a former attorney general of New Hampshire and has been actively involved in government relations since 1980 He served as a senior national advisor to the presidential campaigns of Howard Baker, Robert Dole, Lamar Alexander, and Mitt Romney and was appointed by President George H.W Bush to be a director of the Legal Services Corporation He has been a delegate at nine Republican national conventions and served as New Hampshire’s Republican party national
committeeman for 11 years Rath is widely respected as a political analyst at both the state and national level, and he appears regularly on national, regional, and state television newsmaker programs
Ettlinger is an a iliate professor of law at UNH’s School of Law and a faculty fellow at the school’s Warren B Rudman Center for Justice, Leadership, and Public Service Prior to joining Carsey in 2014, Ettlinger was at several Washington, DC, think-tanks working on federal and state economic and fiscal policy He most recently was the senior director for the fiscal and economic policy portfolio at the Pew Charitable Trusts Prior to that, he was vice president for economic policy at the Center for American Progress and held positions with the Economic Policy Institute and the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy
