Contract Status: This post will be available from 1 September 2017 and will initially be offered on a
fixed-term contract with the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China for a period
of three years This contract may be extended on an indefinite basis by mutual agreement
Hours of Work: Full-time
Salary: RMB 294,281 – RMB351,386 per annum depending on skills and experience
(salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance) In addition, an attractive package including accommodation allowance, travel allowance and insurance will be provided for international appointments

Job Outline:
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver lectures and seminars in management and
business or related areas across all years of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes In addition, s/he will be expected to supervise undergraduate and master’s dissertations and undertake some administrative duties
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching
To prepare and deliver lectures and seminars/tutorials at either undergraduate and/or
postgraduate levels
To participate in the assessments for initial and higher degrees and diplomas of UNNC
To contribute to course and curriculum development and design, including course management (where appropriate)
To support and comply with UNNC teaching quality assurance standards and procedures
Administration
To serve on committees
To help with various administrative activities

Education
• A master degree in a relevant discipline
• Postgraduate qualification in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education or equivalent
• Membership of relevant professional bodies;
• PhD (or close to completion) in a relevant discipline
