Please complete the attached application to apply for the Richmond Young Scholar Scholarship and submit it by April 13, 2020 close of business (6 p.m.) to the Richmond Police Activities League, 2200 Macdonald Ave, Richmond, CA 94801 If you have any questions, feel free to contact Pandora Turner at (510) 621-1222 Late applications will not be accepted.
Requirements
• Eligible students must a high school senior who plans to attend a two/four year college, university, or technical school
• Either a Richmond resident, RPAL member (past or present), or attend high school in the West Contra Costa Unified School District
• Candidates must have a grade point average of 2.0 “C” or above
• Candidates must submit one letter of recommendation by a teacher or counselor
• An essay of the topic must be submitted along with application
• A recent picture attached to the application
• Applications must be typed or printed legibly The entire application must be completed
• School Transcript
