Authors are invited to submit abstracts for presentation at the conference and inclusion in the conference proceedings Papers addressing the session topics listed below will have first priority

Product Life Cycle Management
Content & Tools
The tools we have available for delivering content and managing our courses have changed dramatically over the last decade How have we changed the way we interact with our students? Have we changed the “face-to-face” time we have with them? Have we changed the way we deliver our content?
Authors are also encouraged to address other topics dealing with instructional methodology, curricula issues, outcomes assessment, research and graduate programs, technology in the classroom, accreditation, retention, capstone design courses and projects, distance education, continuing engineering education and other topics of interest to the engineering graphics education community
This is a peer-reviewed conference Papers will be accepted on the basis of abstract content Authors of accepted papers must present their papers at the conference
The schedule for submission of papers and abstracts is:
September 5, 2008 250-300 word abstract due
September 26, 2008 Notification of abstract acceptance or rejection
October 17, 2008 Manuscript due from author(s) for review
October 31, 2008 Reviewed manuscript returned to author(s) for revision
November 14, 2008 Final paper due

There will be a special room dedicated to exhibits, operated in parallel with the technical sessions on Monday and Tuesday Manufacturers and distributors of books, hardware, and software, and other material related to this program, are invited to display their materials for perusal by the conference attendees Exhibitors are also invited to sponsor activities

Workshops…
There will be a series of special 2-hour workshops on Sunday, 4 January 2008 and another series (of different workshops)
on Wednesday, 7 January 2008, which will be hands-on introductions to the capability and use of the latest CAD, analysis, and rapid prototyping software All workshops will be located on the UC Berkeley campus Transportation will be made available The workshops will include material presented by:

Dimension FDM
UC Berkeley
All workshops will be offered at no cost to registered attendees of the Meeting
