Karen Weiss-Ogden, Ph.D.,
LPC, LCAS, CCS has been working
in the mental health/substance
abuse field for over 30 years She
is recognized for her gifted
teaching abilities and her
commitment to client-focused
strength-based care In addition to
her private practice, Dr Ogden is a
well-respected and sought after
consultant and trainer for a variety
of agencies including Duke
University Medical Center/Duke
Addictions Program and the
Department of Psychiatry at the
University of North Carolina, Chapel
Hill She has also served as an adjunct professor at East Carolina University Department of Addictions and Rehabilitation Studies Dr
Ogden has published articles in the areas of Spirituality, Trauma and Addiction, and Supervision
