Theo yêu cầu phát triển hội nhập của xã hội, trao đổi hợp tác lao động quốc tế, giao tiếp bằng Ngoại Ngữ nói chung tiếng Anh nói riêng trở nên phổ biến và cần thiết Việc sử dụng tiếng Anh trong các ngành nghề ở trường học
là một yêu cầu đào tạo thiết thực Và môn tiếng Anh trong chuyên ngành Nhà hàng – Khách sạn cũng là một trong những môn quan trọng
Giáo trình tiếng Anh chuyên ngành Quản trị nhà hàng được biên soạn trên cơ sở chương trình khung của Tổng cục Nghề ban hành, việc tham khảo tài liệu liên quan đến ngành học, ý kiến đóng góp của quý thầy cô đồng nghiệp trong tổ chuyên môn và những kinh nghiệm rút ra từ thực tế đào tạo Quyển giáo trình này đề cập về các vấn đề liên quan đến dịch vụ khách sạn, nhà hàng như việc tiếp đãi, ẩm thực, Nội dung được trình bày dưới dạng các từ vựng, câu, mẫu đàm thoại xác thực theo tình huống
Chức năng của giáo trình là cung cấp nội dung giảng dạy - học tập, để giáo viên dễ dàng tổ chức các hoạt động giao tiếp cho học sinh theo từng chủ
đề yêu cầu của chương trình học Chương trình tiếng Anh chuyên ngành gồm
300 giờ học, chia thành hai chuyên ngành Quyển giáo trình này là chuyên ngành một, 150 giờ học, được thực hiện trong một học kỳ
Giáo trình gồm các nội dung chính sau:
- Chuyên ngành 1(course 1): có 12 đơn vị bài học (unit) chuyên về từ vựng chuyên ngành và các cấu trúc câu sử dụng trong các tình huống giao tiếp
Giáo trình được biên soạn trên tinh thần nghiêm túc, trách nhiệm, tham khảo từ nhiều nguồn tài liệu, chắc chắn sẽ không tránh khỏi những sai sót Rất mong nhận được những nhận xét, đánh giá và ý kiến đóng góp để cuốn giáo trình này ngày càng hoàn thiện hơn

I VỊ TRÍ, TÍNH CHẤT CỦA MÔN HỌC:
1 Vị trí:
- Thuộc nhóm môn: chuyên ngành
- Được bố trí sau các môn chung
2.Tính chất:
- Đây là mô đun bắt buộc đối với SV trình độ Cao đẳng nghề; nó cần thiết cho việc trang bị kiến thức ngoại ngữ cho SV khi làm việc sau này; là tiền đề cho việc thi A1/A2 sau khi kết thúc khóa học nhằm đạt chuẩn đầu ra của trình độ Cao đẳng nghề Và Anh văn chuyên ngành phục vụ cho việc giao tiếp trong quá trình làm việc của các em sau khi ra trường
II MỤC TIÊU MÔ ĐUN:
2 Về kỹ năng: HSSV đạt yêu cầu về các kỹ năng:
- SPEAKING: có khả năng nói và diễn đạt để người khác hiểu được trong giao tiếp thông thường và trong môi trường làm việc;
- LISTENING: có khả năng nghe và hiểu thông tin người khác diễn đạt trong giao tiếp thông thường và trong môi trường làm việc;
- READING: có khả năng đọc và hiểu thông tin trong giao tiếp thông thường và trong môi trường làm việc;
- WRITING: có khả năng viết và diễn đạt để người khác hiểu trong giao tiếp thông thường và trong môi trường làm việc
3 Về năng lực tự chủ và trách nhiệm:
- HSSV có thái độ tích cực đối với việc học và sử dụng tiếng Anh

There are many different ways of making polite requests, offers in English
When we offer something to somebody we can use the following forms:

We can accept an offer in the following ways:

Refusing
We can decline an offer using an expression like those below:

Things to remember about making a request:
1 "Would you mind " is followed by a gerund (verb +_ing)
Example: “Would you mind lending me your book? "
2 The response to the following request:

is either B: "No, I don't mind."(which is a positive response to the request It means
that I accept to give you my coat)
