3 SUMMARY OF THE COURSE
The international law of the sea is the couthathich not only providesstudents with the basic knowledge about the boundaries and legal status ofmaritime spaces but also provides students in-depth legal knowledgerelated to exploiting and using sthe ea These are issues such as jointfishing cooperation, delimitation of sea between countries with opposite oradjacent coasts, protection of the marine environment Through thiscourse, students will also grasp the mechanism of solving disputesettlement by the provisions of The United Nations Convention on the Law
of the Sea 1982 and the practice of resolving maritime disputes betweenVietnam and other countries in the region
The course consists of 7 main groups of issues:
