Trang 4new, not just a language This is a soundtrack goes! Audio can help to push the anode more in a class, which can help you improve your English in a short amount of time The research for found music can have a positive effect on the program's identity In a test of 30 students, you know that many questions are completed and many questions were corrected when complete listening to music, with the complete work in silence Music is not only extremely poised for learning, but also helps you remember English words and phrases through repetitive Songs and music often contain a lot of useful vocabulary, phrases and expressions, and more, many sounds and sounds in a song are looped, this makes them easy in mind myself Tunes and songs that are often trapped
in your mind can not recognize it, which is known as a headache
The loopback is important to weighting when studying a new language It is important
to phrase and phrase that you have understood in your practice and that whatever you learn new will not just be forgotten That's why music creates great help when learning a new language
Learn English through music and songs where you can learn languages you will not find in textbooks or tutorials Many of the terms derived from popular music have been used in English, such as YOLO, the abbreviation for "You only live once," Bling, a word used to describe the map and Diss (or dis) a term that means can not show respect
Some of the best musicians to help you learn English include: The Beatles, thanks to their intriguing melodies and simple songs, Ed Sheeran, thanks to their related songs and One Direction, thanks to the song Their simplicity and their related stories (LCT EASTBOURNE, 2017)
Trang 5Scientists have demonstrated the effect of music on learners to develop grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation There is a method of learning language through music called "Mozart Effect" This method focuses on allowing students to listen to classical music for increased efficiency as well as relaxation during the learning process This shows that music has a very good effect on human memory
Music and singing are useful methods to improve your ability and make a difference
in your language learning So, always be confident to sing your favorite English songs and do not worry if your voice is not good.( Hai My,2016)
Music can also be a creative way to increase your student body I like to play music when my students are doing homework This will create an environment for students
to concentrate and relax while organizing ideas and choosing words
I also use a variety of music to help students increase vocabulary and learn synonyms For example, I play a gentle classical music collection and ask students to record all the features you remember When they finish work, I will let them share the words they write Students have many words that they can share and teach each other For higher students, this creates an excellent opportunity to discuss the different languages
of the word For example, students discuss differences between words like "sad" and
"sad" or "calm" and "peace" Then I introduce more types of music to evoke from the vibroid, happy, or happy
Some works fun to use with older students carrying a record of the song and giving the student a document with everything from the seventh or the ten Playing a lesson and have many more random students This is very difficult because you can not perform very fast, and speak the language and talk about other language I have these
Trang 6requirements always ask for this, If you are doing work, as well as the song when they have all the words
Finally, music can be a powerful tool for learning new concepts or recording information Lisa Grigorieff, a kindergarten teacher and first grader, wrote in the clear sense of how music is used to learn the alphabet She uses the tune from "Who are the dogs out?" For example, "Who gives A?" Young students are singing and dancing when repeating the words using a modern, attractive Grigorieff said, "[The student] retains this letter better than the person who did not do the song, and started writing about DIBELS with the word" Nonsense " (Kistina,R)
"We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams." – Arthur O'Shaughnessy (as quoted in the film, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory)
Before "high stakes tests" were invented, teachers created their own "high stakes tests." My high school civics teacher required that each student write from memory the preamble to the Constitution in order to pass the class If you recall, the preamble starts, "We the people, in order to form a more perfect union…" and goes on for about six lines
Thankfully, all my years of watching TV were not a total waste of time (as my mother
warned me they would be) I had watched the School House Rock series on Saturday
mornings and remembered a cartoon and song with the preamble to the Constitution
in the lyrics I sang that song to myself during the test and passed with ease This memory has always reinforced to me that music can be a strong tool for memorization and learning new information
Language learning offers a unique and exciting opportunity to integrate music Many people have had the experience of learning a world language and singing simple, silly
Trang 7songs in class The introduction of music provides a light-hearted and fun way to interact with another language and culture.(Kristina,R.)

Pronunciation is the way in which a word or name is pronunced.(Oxford Dictionary,2008) Listener can improve the pronunciation when they hear the singers say the right pronunciation and learn the pronunciation from it
Listening to music help listener get used to the difficult topics in English such as the ligature, sound connections, the tone up and down,…The featured of the songs is that the tune is very plentiful. So, listener can hear and sing to practise both phonetic anh intonation in sentences(Nguyen Manh Truong)
Fatnia (2016) denied that the pronunciation of words can be improved by listening English songs The way to improve is when listen to English music, listener can repeat the pronunciation of the word that said in the song So, people who listen to the English song can learn about the pronunciation from the word of song
The other way to improve the pronunciation is that listener write the word in the song, after they search the right pronunciation in dictionary and said it like the dictionary said(Fatnia,2016)
Through the English song, listener can improve vocabulary because there are some vocabularies in the song.Listener will get used to listening familiar to unfamiliar words. So, they can easily recongize many synonyms of the word Example, “eternal” and “everlasting” are the synonym words in English, they have same meaning and with the listening music listener can know them Besides, there are some idioms and
Trang 8listener can learn more idioms in the song For example, idiom is “miss the boat”, it doesn’t mean that people miss the boat, actually that means miss the chance
To improve the vocabulary through the listening English music, listener should take a note, remember the words and look up the synonyms the word that said in the song.Thereby , listener can know the meaning of the word that said by the speakers and get better soccerin do listening tasks than others don’t listen to music (Jamilatul,2016)
Language is really just imitation When newborns, children's thinking has not formed, they learn the language in this way: imitation, repetition As the human brain grows stronger in logical thinking, remembering and learning everything is based on logic Without logic we learn very hard When learning a new word, for example, "fish" is
"fish", it is just learned by heart but no logic here It is like remembering a phone number 0900039787, for example, merely memorizing it through repeating it repeatedly A professor, a doctor, or an ordinary person who memorizes this phone number they share in a way to remember All is just memorization thanks to the repetition!
So to memorize English, it is very important that we need repetition many times When we listen to music, we can listen to a favorite song without being bored Songs are meaningful or should be easy to remember, especially the ones that I like So automatically, we will have the repetition of English structures repeatedly without any investment, just relax In addition, the chorus are repeated many times throughout the song So the more I repeat that sentence structure Plus the impressive sound of the song left in our head, we remember much easier than the dry lessons. For example, you will learn a lot of grammar in a verse of the song “I swear” by the group All for
Trang 9one: “I swear by the moon and the stars in the sky and I swear like the shadow that's by your side ” First, “stars” is a plural noun, one must have “s” in it.Second, We learn the preposition “in the sky” rather than “on the sky” Third, “that’s by your side” we can learn the structure using a clause after “that”
to modify the word “shadow” in front of it(Nguyen Manh Truong)
Blethers (2013) states that music can stimulate the whole brain and senses.Because of this, music teaches people many skills Music and communication are closely related
to each other Nowadays, there are a number of studies that support the idea that early music exposure has the benifits of developing communication and literacy skills.First,
we will think about some communication skills that we learn through the listening music: maintain focus, learn to listen, oral communication and visual communication, develop vocabulary and sentencesperception of phonetics,
Music teaches you the culture of English speaking countries. Not only do you benifits from the language, you also absorb the thoughts and feelings of people across the globe. With many songs or imformation about famous artists, you also have a lot to talk to in English (Vietnamexpress,2017).According to Alberttoalchieri (2017),music can also increase your cultural understanding and awareness Many songs talk about great stories and can teach you a lot about love, life, tradition, history, philosophy, literature, and more A great example of a storytelling song is “Hurricane,” a wonderful story of sports, racism and history told by Bob Dylan, the most recent Nobel Prize for Literature

Trang 10Wang (2011) denied that when you want to improve your English listening skills, we should write down lyrics whether you understand or not Next, you can ask yourself questions to understand the lyrics and you need to compare with the original of the lyrics
When listening to a song, you need to hear it over and over again to get the full work
in the song This job requires the hard work and patient of the listener We should listen to music with the mood For example, when you are sad, you should listen to light music, on the contrary, when you are feeling fun or want to relax, you should listen to lively music If you have difficulty understanding the lyrics by listening, you needs to be selected the another song because it will helps you don’t feed tired or boring by Kahraman (2008)
Other than listening to English, you also read in English to quickly learn words and phrases commonly used in conversations We can look up the lyrics on the youtube, laptop or the mass media to read as so it will help form the habit and little by little make you improving listening English skills After you look at the lyrics several time, you should out the lyrics and self singing along to his memory It just helps to
exercise the brain at once the better listen If want to learn better listening, you need translate them into your native language so you will understand mean the lyrics When you usually look at the lyrics, you will get familiar with vocabulary, phrease or may be the sentence structure of the native
According to Mecartty (2000, pp 323 – 350) maintained that to improve listening skill, you should combine listening and reading It helps you remember vocabulary, pronunciation and develop better listening Hear your favorite song, read the lyrics several time, you will be familiar with the second language This is a very important
