Cụm động từ (Phrasal Verb) là sự kết hợp của một động từ cơ bản với một hoặc hai giới

từ như : back, in, on, off , through, up, etc Nghĩa của cụm động từ rất khó đoán dựa vào nghĩa của động từ và giới từ tạo thành nó

*Tương tự như tính từ, với các trạng từ có hai hoặc nhiều âm tiết, chúng ta

thêm more hoặc most đằng trước trạng từ tương ứng cho so sánh hơn và so sánh nhất.

* Với các trạng từ có một âm tiết, chúng ta thêm er hoặc est tương ứng với so sánh hơn và
