Trang 7Installation Steps
1 Install the equipment;
2 Connect the power cable;
3 Unplugged the boards except FANs;
4 After the FANs are running normally, plug in all of the boards;
5 Compare the slot information on the M920 with Board Link
Chart;
6 Connect the patch cords following the board link chart;
Notice:
1 Laser of EOBAH2424 and DRA board must be shut down
before connecting the patch cords.
2 The attenuation between DCM1 and DCM2 on EONAD
board should be 11dBm
Trang 8 SNP Configuration
Trang 9Configuration of NE IP Address
The SNP in the engineering is configured with IP address when it leaves the factory You can combine the VLAN to query the IP address configured to the SNP
To query the initial IP address, proceed as follows:
1.Combine the VLAN: press down the TST key on the EIC board (0-1-4) for more than
5 seconds If the NOM indicator on the EIC board flashes more frequently,
it indicates that VLAN combination succeeds
2.IP address of the network port of the PC is configured to 192.168.1.200, and subnet mask is configured to 255.255.255.0
3.In the DOS window, make sure that you can ping 192.168.1.4
4.Then run the telnet 192.168.1.4 9023 command The login name and password are admin and adminby
5.Behind the ZTE+> prompt, type enterksh, and then press enter
6.Behind the KSH> prompt, type vwc, and then press enter
the BOARD IP ADDRESS and BOARD SUBNET MASK
marked in the red block indicate the SNP’s IP address and subnet mask.
Create an NE on the EMS, set the NE IP address to the value just queried.
When the EMS can manage the NE, modify its IP address through the EMS

Trang 11DRA (E2000/APC)
• Avoid damaging fiber pigtail connectors while plugging/unplugging the board and
make sure that the optical power of fiber is lower than 10 dBm
• Always keep the optical connectors clean Install the dust caps on the unused optical
connectors in real-time
• In the application of the DRA board, connectors used in optical line should be as few
as possible
• If the line fiber route changes or the optical fiber changes, fiber pigtails connected to
the DRA board should be recleaned
• Turn off the board pump laser in EMS before pulling out fiber from the IN interface on
the board.
• Before inserting fiber into IN interface, perform the following operations:
1 Connect the fiber correctly
2 Configure board gain as the lowest value, and then check the reflectance
3 If the reflectance is not more than -30 dB, adjust the gain to the normal value
• The reflectance should be not more than -30 dB (the reflectance alarm threshold is
-15 dB) Clean fiber surfaces before you plug/unplug fiber pigtails or replace the DRA
board
EOBAH (E2000/APC)
• Turn off the board pump laser in EMS before pulling out fiber from the IN interface on
the board.
• If the line fiber route changes or the optical fiber changes, fiber pigtails connected to
the DRA board should be recleaned
