Water resources are natural resources of water that potentially usefull Uses of water include agricultural, industrial, household, recreational and environmental activities (wikipedia).
- what is Man-made reservoirs ?
A reservoir usually means an enlarged natural or artificial lake, storage pond or impoundment created using a dam or lock to store water (Wikipedia).

- Tri An lake is a man-made water reservoir
- Tri An lake is built from daming up Dong Nai river, which
is one of the primary construction of Tri An hydroelectricity
- Tri An lake was built in 1984 and finished at the beginning
of 1984
- Tri An lake’s total volume is around 2,765.109 m3
- Lowest volume is around 218 109 m3 along with lowest
water level is 50 m
- Valuble volume is around 2,547 109 m3
- Toal area of water surface is around 323 km2

- People who live around the Tri An hydroelectric reservoir use its water to irragate their drops, in special this place has a grapefruit garden with an area more than 235 ha
- In addition, farmers also use the water from the lake to irragate for vegetables,… and cattle feeding

- The water source of Tri An lake is not still exploited for industry, it only exploits for domestic water supply

- It has been a domestic water supply plant which is placed at Thien Tan commune, Vinh Cuu town to use the water source from Tri An lake
- Thien Tan water supply plant was built in 2000 with capacity of 100.000 m3/ day and night has supplied the domestic water to people of Bien Hoa city, people of center of Long Thanh Town, BH1 and BH2 industry park,

- The 2012 water resource law and related legal regulations had been established for managing and using Dong Nai water resource at Vinh Cuu town.
- Coordinating with governmnent agency, media to propagate and disseminate the law of water resources, regulations on licensing of discharge into water sources
- Propagating and disseminating the laws of water resources through websites and newsletters.

Besides, the water resource of Tri An lake also provides fish and harmonizes the climate So we need to protect them.
