When "Kaizen" was introduced in Vietnam, numerous small and medium-sized enterprises boldly applied it to their production and management processes, resulting in remarkable improvements This Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement has significantly enhanced operational efficiency and competitive advantage for Vietnamese businesses Embracing Kaizen has proven to be a transformative strategy, driving sustainable growth across various industries in Vietnam.

The concept of "Kaizen," which has been implemented for some time, is increasingly adopted by companies across various sectors Supported by organizations such as the Asian Productivity Organization, Vietnam Productivity Center, Malaysia Productivity Center, and JICA, many businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, have systematically carried out Kaizen activities Companies that have received support from these organizations, like Sonla Hydropower Company and Petroleum Materials Co., Ltd (COMECO), have obtained Kaizen certification, demonstrating their commitment to continuous improvement.

2.1.2 ベトナム企業における「イノベーション」活動の現状

Vietnamese companies have a relatively low number of inventions, according to the Vietnam National Intellectual Property Office.

To effectively improve efficiency and reduce waste, every individual within a company must consciously participate in continuous Kaizen activities Elevating employee awareness through targeted training and rewards is essential to fostering a culture of ongoing improvement Implementing Kaizen as a core part of corporate culture can fundamentally transform behaviors, mindset, and organizational workflows over the long term Encouraging proactive learning, creativity, and innovation among employees enhances overall work quality and boosts productivity Additionally, focusing on high-quality outputs that meet customer needs, while evaluating internal resources and external conditions, increases the likelihood of the success of applications and initiatives within the company.
