Trang 14PART B INTERNSHIP ACTIVITIES
I Activities
Due to the outbreak of the Covid 19 epidemic, our internship time hasbeen delayed by two weeks compared to the expected time During those twoweeks, we were tasked with preparing our introductory interview for the firstmeeting and also provided an online CV At that time, Mr Phuc gave us a lot ofreferences about the province and other localities Then, he introduced the foreignpolicies of Vietnam and other countries These documents helped me increase myknowledge a lot During that stage, we got a group and individual exercises Time
to meet at the department were about 1-2 days per week, mainly in the afternoon. The meeting time was announced by Mr Phuc and posted in the online group. The details of our internship activities are showed in the following information
Trang 15In the following weeks, we approached the complex articles And I wasnot alone because I had a nice and enthusiastic team in group translationexercises We got along to each other quickly As a result, we completed theexercises efficiently Our translation exercises ranged from research articles toPowerPoint formats and administrative documents The more various theexercises we experienced, the more knowledge we gained It took much timelooking for the proper words in translating research The reason was probablythat we were freshmen in this genre Anyway, we tried our best After thetranslation exercises, my translation skills increased a lot I had a realistic view oftranslation work.

An Giang province
One of my favorite activities was this meeting We are assigned characters
to disguise in groups to simulate the meeting and work between the ConsulateGeneral of India and An Giang province A great activity that I was took part in
We were divided into two groups of one side playing the role of the ConsulateGeneral of India and the other group was also our group playing the An Giangdelegation We scripted the role of each individual in the group, drafting themanuscript based on knowledge and materials learned from Mr Phuc Also, wewere supported by Ms Ngan to make the script more complete After a series ofefforts, the performance took place smoothly at the department What made thesituation more excited than ever was that the character in the role of theInterpreter is randomly changed, and we are excited and somewhat worried aboutthis very important role in this show Although I was not chosen for the position
of an interpreter, however, I was very happy that I learned so many valuablethings in this activity Finally, Mr Phuc gave us some suggestions on the
Trang 17his practical experiences in exchanges with foreign delegations through picturesand videos He pointed out the common mistakes and how to deal with them Wehad the opportunity to expand our knowledge again.
4 Presentation
Figure 3 Presentation of our group
The latest week we were asked to choose a given topic to present Wewere teamed up to do it My team consisted of Dieu Lien, Minh Chau, Thai Tran, and me, and I was fortunate to be chosen as the team leader With the dual task ofboth preparing the report and doing the 2000-word summary I understood thedifficulty of the mission and I also knew its challenges Our topic was "history ofVietnamese diplomacy" we consulted the documents and many sources ofknowledge about the topic and how to summarize a topic that Mr Phuc sent forthe presentation of the group
As a leader, my responsibilities were higher than ever I assigned the roles
of each individual in the team and proceed to work in an organized manner Wewere full of new ideas about the presentation I had received the
Trang 18ideas Then, I unified them to form a complete whole After the group'scommendable efforts, we finished the presentation to the best of our ability. Finally, we received some recommendations from the supervisor, and heprovided us his advice honestly He praised the group's efforts and highlights, but
he also pointed out the flaws in the presentation We have acknowledged hisrespectful comments One thing I appreciated was that in each presentation Mr.Phuc immediately corrected the things we presented that were not accurate orunclear Thanks to that, we clearly remembered those shortcomings After all thepresentations, he made a vision for us He celebrated the groups and individualsfor their good performance and pointed out the downsides This was a verytreasured experience for me and my friends
